Croeso / Welcome
We started running Connected groups in North Wales in January 2021 working closely with the therapeutic family workers from the North Wales Adoption Service.
Initially we met with our groups on Zoom but as the government restrictions allowed, we have moved to delivering monthly face to face groups in Northwest and northeast Wales.
Young people have been at the heart of our planning and have worked to develop ground rules they want to work within and programmes of activities they want to participate in.
We offer a Welsh language provision in northwest Wales.
We are looking forward to welcoming more children and young people into our groups- please get in touch to find out more!
Meet the team
Helo, I’m Talitha and my pronouns are she/her. I work for Connected as the Lead Youth Worker in North Wales. I also work with young people from across Wales in our youth forums CONNECT Voices.
I’m a qualified youth worker, teacher, playworker and childcare worker. Previously I have managed an informal education team, worked as a schools youth worker, a detached worker, a playworker and managed a pre-school. It feels really good to be working with young people again.
When I’m not working with young people, I love spending time with my friends and family, learning Welsh, volunteering for a local Welsh social group, going to the pictures, listening to music, walking my dog, Minnie, going to Clwb Darllen, camping and going on adventures.
